CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative is a composite insurance cooperative owned by more than 2,000 cooperative primaries and federations all over the country. As an insurance provider for cooperatives and its members, we provide a number of services which include Life Insurance, Property Insurance & Health Care products.

The ultimate goal of CLIMBS is to advocate a well integrated financial system where Cooperative Insurance, Cooperative Banks and Cooperative Primaries and Federations will be united and make the cooperative serve its members to its potential and be an active participant in nation building.

We are registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and were issued a license to operate as a Life Insurance Company by the Insurance Commission. CLIMBS is also a member of the International Cooperative & Mutual Federation (ICMIF),Asia Oceania Association of ICMIF (AOA); the Philippine Life Insurance Association (PLIA) and an associate member of NATCCO. We are also in partnership with Philippine Prudential Life Insurance Company as our re-insurer for Life products, Malayan Insurance for NonLife products and Munich RE as our International partner in Natural Catastrophe Insurance. We have one subsidiary, Coop Life General Insurance and Financial Services Agency (CLIFSA) which acts as a general agent for non-life, pre-need and health care products.
