CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative has more than 2,000 shareholders which compose of Cooperatives, Cooperative banks, and Cooperative federations.

A regular member is one who is entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership. An associate member is one who has no right to vote and be voted upon and shall be entitled only to such rights and privileges provided in the by-laws.

Regular Membership. he regular membership of this Cooperative has the following qualifications:

a.) Have paid the minimum common share capital of 10 shares valued at ten thousand pesos only (Php 10,000.00).

b.) Undertake to uphold the by-laws, policies and guidelines, rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Directors and General Assembly.


Associate membership. The associate membership of this Cooperative shall have the following qualifications:

a.) Have paid the minimum preferred share capital of (1) share valued at one thousand pesos only (Php 1,000.00).

b.) Undertake to uphold the by-laws, policies and guidelines, rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Directors and the General Assembly.

An applicant for regular or associate membership shall file a duly accomplished form with the Board of Directors who shall accept or deny it within seven (7) working days from the date the required documents are completed.

Membership Fee of five hundred pesos (Php 500.00) shall be collected upon accomplishment of the application for membership.
